What this skill does
firecrawl-seo-audit is Firecrawl's official workflow for turning a live website into a specific, prioritized SEO audit. Your agent infers the site, the target keywords and the output format from your request, and asks at most one to three short questions when it is genuinely blocked.
It then follows a collection plan. Firecrawl maps the site to understand its URL structure, scrapes the key pages — homepage, product and pricing pages, docs, blog and high-value landing pages — and extracts title tags, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, canonical signals and image alt text. When you provide target keywords, it searches them and scrapes the top-ranking pages for comparison. Where possible the work is split across parallel sub-agents for site structure, on-page SEO, keywords and SERPs, and technical issues such as broken links and duplicate content.
The deliverable is a structured report: executive summary, site structure, per-page on-page notes, keyword opportunities, a competitor comparison explaining who outranks you and why, and recommendations ranked by impact, with the source behind every finding. It requires a Firecrawl API key. Use it with Claude Code for content strategy and competitive SEO research.
